Using Takt to Develop Project Execution Strategies (LCI Webinar)

This webinar is offered in collaboration with the Lean Construction Institute and is available to LCI members. If you are interested in the topic and you are not an LCI member, please use the contact form on this website and we will let you know once we schedule this again early in 2025.

The use of Takt Planning in the industry varies with most applications aimed at detailed project execution planning.  This webinar explores how teams can leverage takt planning to quickly develop project execution strategies much earlier in the project life cycle (e.g., during validation, or the early schematic design phases).  The presentation will outline the principles of takt planning and compare the various approaches for its application in the industry.   It will introduce the basic principles for calculating takt targets for work phases, and how to apply the results and create project execution strategies.  Participants will learn how to interpret different takt plans and how to compare them.  The presentation will conclude by situating Takt Planning within the overall framework of the Last Planner System and will explore how takt planning can enable lean thinking to drive process improvement.

Registration for this webinar will close 30 minutes before the webinar starts and you will receive an email with the webinar registration link immediately after registering. If you register on the day of, you will receive your confirmation directly before the start of the webinar.

LCI Member Rate is $75.
