Using Takt to Develop Project Execution Strategies (Nashville)

  • JE Dunn Construction 1316 Adams Street Nashville, TN 37208 (map)

The use of Takt Planning varies in the industry, with most applications aimed at detailed project execution planning.  This in-person presentation explores how teams can leverage takt planning to quickly develop project execution strategies much earlier in the project life cycle (e.g., during validation or early design phases).  The presentation will outline the principles of takt planning and review the various approaches for its application in the industry.   It will introduce the basic principles for calculating takt targets for work phases, and how to apply the results and create project execution strategies.  Participants will learn how to interpret different takt plans and how to compare them.  The presentation will conclude by situating Takt Planning within the overall framework of the Last Planner System and will explore how takt planning can enable lean thinking to drive process improvement.

Note that space is limited for this event. Register early.
